Artist's Comments
This is Ursula, she's a leading robotologist and she has been working with robots and electronics for years and years. Ursula is currently working on a robot that will look and act just like a real bear.
She has a PhD in science, electronics, robotics, mechanics and bizarrely enough, in cookery. Ursula is against animal testing, and attends protest and campagins for animal rights in her free time. Ursula is made out of toffee coloured corduroy and she's been stuffed with rags and polyfill. She has a button for a belly button and her eyes and nose have been embroidered. Her labcoat is made out of heavy cotton and it has little decorative buttons on it. Ursula is my entry for the "Zombies & Robots & Bears... Oh my!" challenge on craftster.org and she'll be up for the vote soon. The electronics around her are actually recording equipment I borrowed from ~sumppi for this shoot. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
