The Fairy of Snow

First snow fell tonight.
Everything is so pretty and white and sparkly.

I designed this Snow Fairy costume in honour of the first snow of the winter.
The corsetted suit would be of satin, screen printed with a pearly dye. The pearls and rhinestones would be threaded on fishing line ect. and the tiara and the wand would be of some silvery metal that's light and affordable. The wings would have a wire frame covered with Iris-membrane ('Iiris-kalvo' in finnish, I don't know what it really is in english) and then painted. Finally pots of glitter would be liberally spread everywhere!
