Snowflake no. 1 is an unique medium snowflake. She's 35 cm tall from the top of her blobs to the tip of her toes.
She's made out of cotton velvet and linen and she has an appliqued stripy cotton nose. Snowflake number 1's eyes are little buttons and she has a pretty frilly silk skirt with a velvet ribbon waistband and a decorative pearly heart-shaped button. She's stuffed with rags and wool. You can see details of her skirt here: [link] As an interesting aside, the person holding the snowflakes in these photos isn't actually a person at all, but my fitting dummy wearing my coat and mittens that have been padded and then pinned into position as needed.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
