I'm finally continuing with my 7 virtues gosurori designs. It's been nearly a year since I did anything with this collection and it's really been way too long!
(I changed the name of the design I originally named "Hope" as I think the name suits this one better, seeing as the achor is usually seen as the symbol for hope and so a nautical theme is more in keeping with that.)

The dropped waist dress with box pleated skirt would be made out of navy blue wool, as wool pleats so nicely. There's pin tucks on the bodice and the dress would be fastened with a zip on the back. The lace on the collar and cuffs would be eyelet lace and the white stripe decoration would be velvet ribbon. The waistband would have big white buttons for decoration.
The sailor collar, hat & petticoat (with eyelet lace on the hem) would be of cotton with navy blue velvet ribbon decoration.
The red scarf would be cotton also.

I'm actually thinking of making this outfit for myself for an up coming role playing/fantasy con.
...That is if I have the inclination and time to do so.

The colours of this look way better in person, but my scanner hates me.
