Emma the rag-cat

This is Emma.
Emma is an antiquarian and she works in a small book shop that sells books no one has really ever heard of. She really enjoys spending time among the shelves and shelves of book.
Emma likes to drink strong russian tea with two spoonfuls of raspberry jam and to read cheesy mystery novels.

Emma is made from orange wool and she's stuffed full with rags (strips from an old sheet), polyfill and love. She has teeny-tiny buttons for eyes and an orange wooden button for a belly button (you can see it better here: [link]).
Emma is wearing a turquoise corduroy jumper skit that has brown vintage-style ribbon on the hem. The jumper skirt's straps fasten with big white buttons and there's a hook & eye closure in the back. Under the jumper skirt Emma is wearing white jersey tights that have a rubber band waist.

The tea cup behind Emma is older than I am and even though it's chipped and worn, it's still one of my favourite cups since it keep the tea hot for a long time.
Oh, and I recommend everyone try putting a few spoonfuls of jam into ordinary black tea, it's super yummy!
