Catherine the little rag-cat

(Posting older pieces for posterity's sake.)

I made Catherine (and Bearnard) the Party Animals for the 2014 Plush You! exhibition, which was also the 10th anniversary of the show.

Catherine is made out of linen and she's stuffed with rags and a bit of polyfill. She has little button eyes, an embroidered nose and pretty, blushy cheeks. She has a plastic button for a belly button. Like Bearnard, Cat is smaller than regular Rag Pets, at about 35 cm from the top of her head to the tips of her toes.
Cat is wearing a corduroy skirt with a band of pretty printed cotton on the hem and an elasticated waist. She also has a smoky blue silk bow around her neck.
